Greater Lincolnshire Agri-food Innovation Platforms


Focussed on helping Lincolnshire businesses to innovate, this project aims to provide support from concept to launch; covering areas such as food waste, security, provenance and safety, including microbiology and chemistry, packaging and labelling, automation and product and process innovation, through the supply chain.

Businesses will have access to research, knowledge transfer and business support through the University of Lincoln’s National Centre for Food Manufacturing (NCFM) and the Lincoln Institute for Agri-Food Technology (LIAT) and Grimsby Institute’s Food Refrigeration & Process Engineering Research Centre.

This project aims to enable opportunities to improve your business through:

  • Applied Research, taking concept and ideas to market– investigate solutions and plan for the future

  • Commercial Trials, to help invest in innovation & development and launch products or services

  • Knowledge Exchange through your supply chain – share expertise with your supply chain via producers, manufacturers & technologies
