Minister of Agriculture of Germany in Tehran


Agriculture Ministers of Germany and Iran met in Tehran to enhance cooperation in the field of agriculture . Germany hopes that in the next 5 years the volume of exports to Iran to 10 billion euros and increase transparency.

Agriculture Ministers of Iran and Germany signed an agreement for bilateral cooperation in the agriculture sector. German Agriculture Minister announced the lifting of international sanctions against Iran will start a new era of cooperation.

Two Ministers expressed both expressed their countries willingness to expand their agricultural research cooperation and trade expansions. According to the Minister of Agriculture of Germany, with the lifting of international sanctions in the near future "new chapter" in cooperation between the two countries begins. Pursuant to this agreement and in order to strengthen it, three months later, in next April, the Ministry of Agriculture of the German economic delegation participate in agricultural exhibition in Shiraz. The aim of this action is to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation and pave the way for direct political relations between the two countries.
