199 Iranian scientists enlisted in world top one percent researchers
The ISI criterion is based on the number of citations of researchers’ works over last 10 years in 22 fields of study.
The researchers are categorized in descending mode and top one percent scientists in each field of study are then selected.
The tally show that 199 Iranian scientists are forerunners, 107 of whom belong to comprehensive universities and 48 to poly technique ones.
Moreover 30 are from medical science universities and 8 from research centers.
Most of the researchers are from Tehran University which is followed by Sharif Poly Technique and Tarbiat Moddares universities.
